In the wonderful village in the hills of Penela we find the village of Favacal a very sought after village renowned for its beautiful stone houses, and this one is no exception, entrance into the property is through the front walkway gate into the start of this beautiful garden down a couple of steps and we find 2 houses facing each either made of lovely stone the thickness of the walls is vast.

House 1

Next door we have the 2nd kitchen, ideal when in the garden or to use for alfresco dining. It has white walls and base units with a wooden worktop, plus a dishwasher. Next to here is the outdoor dining area, a quaint sitting area in the shade with views of the gardens and valleys below.

House 2 This 2 Bedroomed property again same as the first has all the qualities of a traditional stone and original features throughout.

 Entering from the veranda we have the hallway with 2 bedrooms to the left and a staircase straight ahead starting with the twin room which currently has bunk beds. This room also has air conditioning and a window overlooking the gardens.

Outside the gardens are magnificent, well kept and mainly laid to grass with many well established plants and shrubs. A stepping stone path leads down to the pool area which has a covered pool 10x4 5 ft deep in the shallow end.

A lovely relaxing area come rain or shine with opening doors if fresh air swimming is preferred.

There are several outbuildings, firstly the large garage which has a nice big storage area above. 

The pump house that houses the swimming pool pump and also a bathroom ideal as near the pool area.

The wood store and workshop building is ideal if wanting to extend to have more living areas.

Heading to the bottom of the garden we have an orchard which has many fruit trees including cherry, apple, pear kiwi, mandarin and peach and a vegetable patch.
