This rustic end terrace, stone built property is situated in a small village overlooking the market town of Lousã. The house is connected to mains water and electricity and has a small, 80m2 garden to one side. The property is currently comprised of:
Large Garage / Store
Basic Bathroom / W.C
The house is situated on a quiet lane; the front door leads to an internal staircase and through to the large garage/store. (7m x 6m) The garage also has double vehicle access doors to the lane and a door to the rear and garden. The internal stairs lead to a long hallway with 3 rooms off of each side. The 3 bedrooms (3m x 4m) (3m x 2.5m) (3m x 2.8m) are at the front of the house overlooking the lane and each have a single window with original wooden shutters. Across the hallway are 3 further rooms, the lounge (3m x 2.8m) has 2 windows to the rear, the dining room (2.7m x 2.7m) with window to rear and the kitchen (2.8m x 2.8m) which has a window and door to the rear and garden. Through the kitchen door there is access to the small bathroom with W.C, basin and shower attachment. Steps lead down to a small out building and around to the small garden (8om2) which has a couple of fruit trees and overlooks the nearby town of Lousã.
The structure of the building appears to be sound, the walls are solid stone and there are a number of original wooden beams. The house requires substantial renovation and re-organisation of the space available. The garage area could be utilised to provide a large open plan living area, enabling the bedrooms on the first floor to be enlarged and a new bathroom incorporated.
This rustic village house, once renovated would be ideal for a couple or small family as a permanent home or alternatively could be an ideal lock-up-and-leaveholiday home.
