This stone-built house is one of the older properties of the small market town called Chaos. It is stone-built, and all of the walls are in good condition. The roof is dry. As well as being a family home, it also used to be the old bar and watchmakers shop. You can easily see by the level of finishing around the doors and windows that it was a quality house back in the day. The new owner could remodel this house to easily take up to 5 bedrooms.

There are several entrances to the property; we chose the side entrance on the first floor to navigate through the property. Below and to the left of the entrance is a courtyard and the door to a separate building large enough to be a studio apartment or a luxurious lounge for the main house.

A number of options present themselves here. You could renovate the small annexe first and do the larger house over time. Or you could renovate the first floor of the main house first and do the other areas over time. So, although it is a large house, you can easily split your budget into manageable chunks. You first enter into a room, a door to the right with access to the outside, a door to the left, leading to another small room leading to a sun terrace with lovely views of the countryside.

Another small bedroom is just to the right in the hallway, and stairs leading to the ground floor and the attic can be found here.

The old watchmaker's shop at the end of the landing is big enough to make an ensuite bedroom.

Downstairs another hallway with access to the courtyard outside. To the right, there is a doorway to the old brewhouse (Adega) and beyond to another annexe. This area could be a fabulous Kitchen/Diner leading to the garden at the rear.

Tho old kitchen is also accessed from here. It is small, but the possible removal of the fireplace it could be used, though this area will likely be remodelled to incorporate a passageway with a storage room.

The old bar mentioned earlier is also big enough for an ensuite that lies beyond this room.

The stone annexe outside has numerous possibilities due to its size.

The garden is of a manageable size and can be very pretty and private.
