The closest everyday facilities are located in popular town of Miranda do Corvo which is a 5 minute drive from the house. Miranda has several supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, farmers market, cinema, schools, health centre, vets etc. The areas around the property are popular with tourists in search of the natural beauty and countryside of central Portugal region. For those in search of more adventure you have the hills of Serra da Lousã which provides opportunities for mountain biking, hiking and paragliding. The fresh water river beaches offer a more relaxing way to spend your time swimming and canoeing. The many restaurants in the area offer regional dishes using local produce at great prices. The popular town of Lousã is 15 minutes away and the famous University City of Coimbra is an easy 20 minute drive.
