This 2 bedroom house with lots of extra storage, wine room and ruins will need some renovation work, it is situated in a small village, just outside Figueiro dos Vinhos and just down the road, walking distance is a river beach with a cafe. This house would suit a big family or for you that are looking to start a business like B&B as it has separate entrances.

The main house has a kitchen, bathroom, living room and 2 bedrooms on the top floor, underneath is the big wine room that could be turned into a garage. Next to the steps that lead up to the house is a big terrace overlooking the flat terraced garden, underneath this is more storage rooms that used to have animals. Another set of stairs on the outside will lead you to yet another terrace with great views.

Behind the main house is one ruin that was the old kitchen and has an old bread oven, the roof has fallen in and it will need a total renovation, attached to the house is more ruins and at some point there was a connection between the houses, a doorway that is now blocked up, but that could be easily opened again. On this side of the house is another entrance from the small cobbled street. None of the ruins are registered at the moment.

The flat piece of land is close to the house and is perfect for a garden and growing land, it is here that the well is. Rest of the land is more rustic and has several of old stone walls and rock creations and on top of the land it meets another small road with no traffic. There are several fruit trees and wines on the land, such as orange, olive, fig, and lemon.

Sewage is on the street, electricity needs to be reconnected as well as telephone, you probably will need to do some kind of parking or use the down stairs wine room as a garage.

The location is great, walking distance from the house is 2 cafes, one with a mini supermarket, restuarante and the very nice river beach called Ana de Aviz with yet another cafe, a 5 minute drive will take you to the town of Figueiro dos Vinhos where you will find everything for your daily needs, such as doctor's, schools, supermarkets, cafes and weekly fruit and vegetable market.

Lisbon and Porto is around a 2 hour drive away and closest train station is in Pombal, Coimbra, Portugal's third biggest city is a 30 minute drive and the seaside 45 minutes away.
