The pretty country town of Arganil with its quaint town square where you can sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by is 15mins away by car, with several banks, shops, two supermarkets (Lidl & Intermarche) petrol stations, schools, several restaurants/cafes, there is also a large open air market every Thursday. The lovely and picturesque old University City of Coimbra on the river Mondego is only 40 minutes by car with an abundance of cultural attractions and excellent shopping malls. The coast is less than an hour away from the house with beautiful beaches and little fishing villages.
