In Ferreira do Zezere, which is around a 10 minute drive away, you will find everything you need for your daily life, such as supermarkets, schools, doctor's, weekly fruit and vegetable markets. The river Zezere is very close with it's river beaches, hiking and water sports It will take you around 1 1/2 hour to drive to Lisbon airport and to Porto around 2 hours, there is direct train to Lisbon from Tomar, and the seaside is around 45 minutes away.
